In order to create a Low- Angle shot, I made sure to be at a lower point in the building directly under the flags. I placed the camera on a flat surface facing up towards the flags.
After planning to do a group project based on a horror movie opening, my group broke up into individual projects. My individual project is called “Lost in Paradise”. It is an aesthetic intro of a movie based on a girl having a rejuvenating time at the beach with her friends. At the end, the intro takes a turn for the worst and the main character is kidnapped. Filming Post 3 Most of my film was shot from 4:30p.m to 6:30p.m. Here I was taking a video of a beach bag, flip flops, and a phone laying on top of the back. In order to give the shot movement, I backed away and gave the shot a moving high angle view. Filming during golden hour was my goal due to how relaxing and visually pleasing the outcome would be. Golden hour shines a beautiful bronze light on the beach below. Later on, a person in the frame with their back facing the sun shows a nice silhouette figure against the sun. My group began filming this week. We took an establishing shot at sunrise. This shot will be used to establish the setting of a morning at school. This will be the first day the main character goes to school normal and eventually finds out her life becomes everything but normal. The shot pans outward towards the sky and makes the mood seem peaceful. In this shot, the main character is shown upset and lonely in what seems to be a vacant school. The shot carries along the idea of the character’s isolation and helplessness in the school.
